Chief Operating Officer (COO) [Switzerland]


 

KS Ventures AG (a new Family Office) is looking for a Chief Operating Officer. The COO will be responsible for overseeing and directing all financial and administrative activities of the company, including but not limited to finance, accounting, legal, human resources, taxes, and risk prevention. In coordination with the CEO, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Chief Sales Officer (CSO) the successful candidate will continue to develop and implement the new business strategy of the company. This position will require a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all financial, accounting, and tax operations of the company.
  • Supervise and ensure compliance with the legal and labor obligations of the company.
  • Supervise risk prevention activities for employees.
  • Supervise human resources operations, including recruitment, training, development, and dismissal.
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all business operations by establishing and implementing streamlined processes and systems.
  • In coordination with the CEO, CTO and CSO further develop and implement business strategies.
  • In coordination with the CTO and CSO, manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide periodic reports on business performance and conduct analysis to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide monthly financial reports on performance (dashboard and financial control).
  • Supervision of Head of Talent and Administration.
  • Execute other tasks or projects requested by the CEO.

We expect from a suitable candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable minimum 5 years of experience in leadership positions, preferably as a Chief Operating Officer or Chief Financial Officer.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, legal, labor, taxes, and human resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and promote interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage interpersonal relationships.
  • Result orientation and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of technology and business information systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From CHF10,000.00 per year
