TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the replacements of cargo loading and interior components on the aircraft
- Responsible to carry out repairs/ modifications on the cargo loading system components and interior components in the shop
- Inspect work done by other team members
- Release components to service.
- Operate and maintain shop equipment/ machinery
- Provide a hand over of his work to team members and superiors
- Provide tool and part/component requirements to superiors
- Report any unsafe condition or defects to his/her supervisor
- Ensure his/her knowledge level is maintained as required for the position (attend mandatory training)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education or apprenticeship (DAP/CATP) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in the fabrication or repair of mechanical components
- Good understanding of drawings and manuals, working processes and procedures
- Mature attitude, ability to work independently
- Not afraid to work at height, willing to work two shifts
- Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are considered an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full time position, based in Luxembourg
- Occasional travel
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
